Raphael Moreira Goncalves was born in 1988 in Lyon, France. He currently lives and works in Lille, France.
Raphael Moreira Goncalves is graduated from Le Fresnoy – National Studio for Contemporary Arts in 2015 and he goes out qualifed of the National Fine Arts Academy of Lyon in 2012 with the congratulations of the jury. His work navigates between cinema and sculpture through the hard and colorful melancolia of the cyberspace where ghosts are easy to find. His pieces are haunted by the moment when everything can tip over, destroy itself and bring diverse transformations. The place of an undecided chaos, to which he mainly answers with moving pictures, and installations (video, sculptural, virtual, or photographic).
