Núria Marquès

Núria Marqués, was born Ciutadella, Balearic Islands, 1975.


Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, studied PHD in Painting at the University of Barcelona, postgraduate in Illustration at the EINA School and the Postgraduate Degree in Painting at the UB Barcelona. She studied at the Université Jean Monet Saint Étienne (France), at Nottingham Trent University and at the Chelsea College of Art & Design -University of the Arts in London (United Kingdom).

Recent Activities

She has exhibited his works in individual and collective exhibitions in Spain and internationally.

Recent exhibitions include, among others:

Toma de Corrient 2, MAC Santiago de Chile, Implosion Es Baluart Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Palma de Mallorca; Crossing of collections, at the CAAM of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Passion at the CAC of Malaga, Breaking News at the Maior Gallery in Palma de Mallorca Current Collection 2 MAC Santiago de Chile.

International fairs and biennials:

Art Brussels, Turku Biennial, Pulse Miami, ArtCologne, ARCO and Bienal Sur

She has been a resident artist at Basilisco Buenos Aires, at Hangar.org Barcelona and at the Centro d’Art i Natura, Lleida.

Her work is part of the collections, Museu Es Baluard, CAC Malaga, Col.lecció Testimoni La Caixa, Fundació Sa Nostra, Coca Cola Foundation, Banco del Espirito Santo.

She had worked in Hangar.org from 2009 to 2016 as the head of the production department of the center.
