Marcel Andino Velez is the deputy director of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Poland. He’s been involved in creating this entirely new institution since it earliest days almost 10 years ago. Previously he worked as an art writer for the the legendary Polish cultural weekly magazine “Przekroj”.
Marcel Andino Velez studied art history and social anthropology at the University of Warsaw and the University of Copenhagen. He’s written and published both in Poland and in the international press. Today he’s entirely focused on developing the Warsaw Museum into a fully-fledged art institution, ahead of the construction of its new building in the heart of the city.
