Kooshk Residency and EUNIC present a new exchange program between Iran and Europe, for 9 European and 9 Iranian artists active in any field of art.
Artists who are applying for the residency program in Greece should bear in mind that the priority is with physical theater performers.
Artists who are applying for the residency program in Hungary should bear in mind that the priority is with Animators.
For this program, 9 Iranian artists will be selected to spend one month in one of the European residencies and 9 European artists will be selected to live and work for the period of one month in Kooshk. All artists are expected to speak and understand English, as the official language in the residency program.
This application is open to all Iranian artists and all the expenses for airfare and living cost are to be provided by artists themselves. The European partner residency will be responsible for providing accommodation and studio space as well as ideally facilitating other outreach programs. During this residency of one month, the Iranian artists will have the opportunity to work in their selected residency.
The European artists will be selected through an open call or will be nominated by their residencies or the Embassies of their respective countries. Applicants will be evaluated by a committee consisting of the Kooshk team and the residency/Embassy of the European country. All the selected artists will be informed by e-mail.
