EFS Films at The Tehran Musuem of Contemporary Art

Experimental Film Society (EFS) is an independent, not-for-profit entity specializing in avant-garde, independent and no/low budget filmmaking. It was founded in 2000 in Tehran, Iran by Rouzbeh Rashidi and has been based in Dublin, Ireland since 2004. It unites works by a dozen filmmakers scattered across the globe, whose films are distinguished by an uncompromising devotion to personal, experimental cinema.
As a part of EFS program, the screening of Experimental Film Society Short Films will take place on September 28th at the Cinematheque of Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art. This program has been organized by New Media Society-Tehran and Experimental Film Society-Ireland in collaboration with Aaran Projects, Lajevardi Foundation, Kooshk Residency and Darbast Platform.
